Avtandil The Grand Opera painting

Avtandil The Grand Opera painting
Eugene de Blaas In the Water painting
a year of impressive performances, nobody in sports came within a two-iron of Woods. Woods won nine tournaments, including three majors. That kind of thing just doesn't happen in golf. Woods won the British Open at St. Andrews without landing in a single sand trap. That kind of thing just doesn't happen in the British Open. He won the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, finishing 12 under par, 15 strokes ahead of the field. That kind of thing just doesn't happen at the U.S. Open. Woods won the PGA in August in a thrilling finish over journeyman Bob May. By year's end, he owned or shared scoring records in all four majors. Woods started off slowly in the year's first major, the Masters, and although he moved back into contention, he didn't win. Overrated hack.
